Learning how to make a website or blog with WordPress is, quite frankly, one of the most important things you can learn how to do. This is especially true if you are an aspiring entrepreneur.
Anyone who has a specific website idea knows how frustrating it can be working with a designer, especially one who is charging by the hour. Not only that, they now have a reason to charge you anytime you need an update for your website (and trust me, they will). This is why you need to learn to make a website (or blog) for yourself. This way you are always in control and don’t need to sit around and wait for someone else to help you anytime you need to make adjustments.
If you want to make money online, a key part of that process is learning to do keyword research and SEO. This means looking up how many searches there are per month for a specific word using the Google Keyword Research tool. This free online school will teach you how to do that:
Once you’ve done that, the next step is to figure out how competitive the search results in Google are. Then match up the ones that have a high potential to make money passively and the ones that have easily beatable top ranking websites.
A fantastic way to make totally passive income is selling your own digital product. You set up a sales page describing what your product is and have a “buy now” button on it. Then when someone clicks that button, they are redirected to a payment portal. Once they pay, they are redirected to the download page where they can get the product. The payment they made is deposited directly into your bank account.
The product you are selling can be an ebook, software, a video series, or any other type of digital file. If you are an expert in any field that people are looking for information on, you can put together an informational product on it.

Even though there are all kinds of conflicting opinions about the effectiveness of social media platforms for online businesses, one thing is for sure: social media is here for good and therefore shouldn’t be ignored.
Right now I have Mike Omar and the LIONS CLUB on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and LinkedIn. I’m not a fan of all of them, but I try my best to use all of them at least a little bit.
Because I want to reach as many people as possible, and allow myself to be accessible to as many people as possible, through whatever medium those people might prefer. Essentially I am casting a wider net and connecting with more people than I would have otherwise.
I’ve met a lot of online business owners that choose one social media platform and stick with it, and I believe this is silly because they are limiting their exposure. If they jumped on every major social media platform and made just a slight effort, they would gain more exposure for their businesses.
Do yourself a favor and dedicate just a little bit of time to maintaining a presence on the major social media platforms; you will be happy with the results.
