Right now I have Mike Omar and the LIONS CLUB on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and LinkedIn. I’m not a fan of all of them, but I try my best to use all of them at least a little bit.

Why?

Because I want to reach as many people as possible, and allow myself to be accessible to as many people as possible, through whatever medium those people might prefer. Essentially I am casting a wider net and connecting with more people than I would have otherwise.

I’ve met a lot of online business owners that choose one social media platform and stick with it, and I believe this is silly because they are limiting their exposure. If they jumped on every major social media platform and made just a slight effort, they would gain more exposure for their businesses.

Do yourself a favor and dedicate just a little bit of time to maintaining a presence on the major social media platforms; you will be happy with the results.
